Historic garment showcase at London College of Fashion

Avid recently designed a series of printed materials to accompany a showcase of historic garments at London College of Fashion.

The graphic design adhered to the charity’s own brand, with print formats including a leaflet, cards, large banner and a special photo journal, charting the process taken by the participating young people.

Additionally, Avid ensured pre and post event press releases and photography.

Barbican Centre, London

The Music Library at the Barbican Centre in London were keen to engage new audiences through art displays, archive and musical instruments.

Avid Art Agency arranged new artworks from an emerging British Artist, organising a print and distribution campaign and curated the display. The opening event included storytellers and contemporary musicians to compliment the theme.

Workshops with school children accompanied the event.

Gandhi Foundation, UK

A well-established charity wanted to re-connect with the local community through a public event.

Avid Art Agency arranged for a local Artist to create new paintings based on research and archive records.

The opening event featured a showing of rare film footage, paintings incorporating archive material, poetry reading and a visit to Mahatma Gandhi’s quarters, where he stayed on a visit to London in 1931.
